Brian Jones Aircraft Sales Centre was established by Brian Jones and Claudia Sprogis on 1st March 1988 at Moorabbin Airport, Victoria, Australia. Aircraft Sales Centre has been operating independently since then and both partners bring considerable expertise to the company with a combined total of over 60 years in the aviation industry with extensive backgrounds and experience in new and used aircraft sales, importing, exporting, maintenance and aircraft insurance. Brian Jones has worked in the Aviation industry since January 1964 and in the 40+ years following has gained experience in all facets of aviation. A licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer since 1970 and a pilot since 1969, he was an aircraft maintenance manager for 10 years and has been involved in aircraft sales and management since then, including 5 years as Sales Manager for Civil Flying Services and Pacific Aviation and 11 years as a dealer for the Piper distributor selling new aircraft. Also a recreational aviation enthusiast, he flies gliders, restores vintage aircraft and is part owner of a 1936 J2 Cub. He has also built a Van's RV4 amateur built 2 place tandem sport aircraft. Claudia Sprogis has worked at Moorabbin Airport in aircraft sales since 1984 and also has considerable office management skills in the fields of catering, insurance and fund raising. She has a Commercial Pilot's licence and has been flying since 1980. Also an aviation enthusiast, she has been gliding for many years and towed gliders at Benalla for over 10 years.
